Do you need to make any configuration changes for leap year with the IBM Sterling Connect: suite of products and IBM Control Center?
Answer
The Sterling Connect: products, including Sterling Connect:Direct, Sterling Connect:Express and IBM Control Center rely upon the underlying operating system (or Java virtual machine for Java-based products) for all time-related functions. IBM Sterling Connect: quality assurance testing accounts for time changes, including DST, time zone differences and leap years by configuring the test network for virtual time changes. Operations are assured by conducting tests that bracket the time change and validating correct operation. These tests include scheduling events, continuous transmission operations and transmission interruptions during the time changes.
