Integration Server

An integration server is the system you use to deploy apps in the previous format to the SOAR platform using the Resilient Circuits framework.

Before the V37.2 release, the integration server was the only app environment. It was used to create and deploy apps. V37.2 and later releases continue to support the integration server, but it is only used to deploy existing apps in the earlier format, and custom threat services.

NOTE: The current release of App Host does not support deploying custom threat services.

The following network diagram is an example of an integration server and a SOAR platform in a cloud configuration. Users access the platform from their web browsers.

NOTE: Web URLs and plugins are not deployed by and do not run in the integration server. However, any plugin that runs Resilient Circuits requires an integration server in the environment.
