Troubleshooting
Problem
Out of box Cognos Workspaces throwing errors when you attempt to run them.
Symptom
Error 'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-201'
Table not found in the dictionary.
Cause
Out of Box Workspaces need to be 'Refreshed' before they can run.
Environment
Cognos 10.2.1. , Maximo 7.6
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, do the following.
Refresh the Workspace.
From Maximo, go to Cognos reports.
Drill down into each package and open the workspace.
Click on the Blue Circle with the down arrow (Top Left).
Select Refresh Workspaces.
