Installation Manager might not be able to find the original repository during rollback of the SDK Java Technology Edition Version 7.0 offering

Troubleshooting


Problem

If the repository for the previously installed version of the SDK Java Technology Edition Version 7.0 offering is not specified, Installation Manager might not be able to locate the repository automatically when you try to roll back to that version.

Symptom

An error message such as the following might result:

Failed to find required installation files.

zip com.ibm.websphere.JDK7.64bit.jre_003_windows.x8664_x 7.0.1000.201204242033 not found:
no source repositories were specified

zip com.ibm.websphere.JDK7.64bit.jre.wasext_003_windows.x8664_x 7.0.1000.201204242030 not found:
no source repositories were specified

zip com.ibm.websphere.JDK7.64bit.jre.wasext_009_all.all_x 7.0.1000.201204242030 not found:
no source repositories were specified

zip com.ibm.websphere.JDK7.64bit.sdk_003_windows.x8664_x 7.0.1000.201204242030 not found:
no source repositories were specified

Resolving The Problem

To resolve this issue, make sure that you specify the location of the repository for the previously installed version of the SDK Java Technology Edition Version 7.0 offering when you try to roll back to that version.
