Troubleshooting
Problem
When a video is imported into a data set and frames are auto-captured from the video, they can be grouped by data summarization. The summarization groups show the number of images in them, but the video frame images are not displayed when a group is selected.
Symptom
Extracted video frame images are not shown in data summarization groups.
Resolving The Problem
The work around for this problem is to extract the frames from the video outside of MVI and then upload the extracted frames.
An alternative work around is to
- Copy the video to a temporary dataset.
- Extract the frames using the MVI auto-extract feature.
- Export the temporary dataset containing the extracted frames.
- Unzip the exported dataset onto your computer.
- Select the unzipped video frame images and upload them to the original dataset.
Once the images are uploaded, the data summarization feature works as expected.
