IBM WebSphere Load Balancer Manager Report

Troubleshooting

Problem

The Load Balancer manager report shows a table listing servers and the status of each server. There is no explanation provided for the meaning of the status field.

Resolving The Problem

The Load Balancer manager report (dscontrol manager report) shows a table that lists the defined servers and the server's status:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
|                      SERVER                         |   STATUS   |
--------------------------------------------------------------------
|                               server1.mycompany.com |     ACTIVE |
|                               server2.mycompany.com |   INACTIVE |
--------------------------------------------------------------------

The 'status' field is 'active' unless the server is quiesced. A server that is quiesced has a status of inactive.

The table displays the message "HOST TABLE CURRENTLY EMPTY" when no servers are defined in the configuration.

Other values displayed in the manager report are explained in the Load Balancer Administrators Guide.
