IBM WebSphere Liberty Java Batch z/OS Security

White Papers

Abstract

IBM Liberty starting at the 8.5.5.6 level and above incorporates the Java EE 7 open standard specification, and with that comes the JSR-352 Java Batch implementation. IBM has enhanced JSR-352 with a set of operational functions around the standard programming interfaces. As is often the case, there is the topic of security that must be taken into account. This document provides a white paper that steps through the security considerations of IBM WebSphere Liberty Java Batch on the z/OS platform
