Abstract

IBM is in the process of renaming some of its FAStT family of products. To help customers during this transition, please use the table below to identify your current FAStT product name(s) along with their new (corresponding) DS4000 product name(s). It should be noted that this is a change of product name only, with no change in functionality or warranty. All listed products are functionally-equivalent, fully-interoperable, and will retain full IBM service as outlined in your service contract.

As of September 3, 2004, the IBM TotalStorage FAStT family has been renamed the IBM TotalStorage DS4000 series, part of the IBM TotalStorage DS Family. The table below shows the FAStT names and corresponding DS4000 names.
