Fix pack for IBM Security Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On AccessStudio, Version 8.2.2.
Download Description
This fix pack delivers the following enhancements:
- Added support for capturing Web signatures on Microsoft Edge Chromium with IBM Security Access Manager for Enterprise Single Sign-On. See Extension.
Prerequisites
This fix pack contains the following file:

8.2.2-ISS-SAMESSO-AS-FP0005.zip
Ensure that Microsoft Windows .NET Framework 3.5 is installed. See Enable the .NET Framework 3.5 in Control Panel.
Before you install this fix pack, ensure that you have installed one of the following versions of AccessAgent:
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0305 (Fix Pack 21)
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0307 (Fix Pack 25)
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0384 (Fix Pack 27)
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0408 (Fix Pack 29)
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0431 (Fix Pack 30)
- AccessAgent 8.2.2.0466 (Fix Pack 32)
- Microsoft Edge Chromium extension 8.2.2.0405
- Microsoft Edge extension 8.2.2.0404
- Google Chrome extension 8.2.2.0404
- Mozilla Firefox extension 8.2.2.0424
Installation Instructions
- Extract the fix pack file to a directory on the computer.
- Install the AccessStudio fix pack using one of the installation methods. See Installing the AccessStudio.
- Verify that AccessStudio is updated successfully. If you successfully installed the fix pack, the AccessStudio version is updated to 8.2.2.0187.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter an issue when you generate the web signature or an unexpected behavior with AccessStudio, complete the following tasks to retrieve the logs for analysis.
Configure log collection
- Start the Registry Editor with administrator privileges.
- Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > IBM > ISAM ESSO > ECSS > DeploymentOptions.
- Edit the following attributes:
- For LogLevel, enter 3.
- For LogFileSize, enter 10240. Ensure that Decimal Value is selected.
- Clear the AccessAgent logs folder,
<AA Installation Folder>\AA\logs
. For example,C:\Program Files\IBM\ISAM ESSO\AA\logs
. - Clear the AccessStudio logs folder,
<AA Installation Folder>\AA\ECSS\AccessStudio\logs
. For example,C:\Program Files\IBM\ISAM ESSO\AA\ECSS\AccessStudio\logs
.
Recreate the issue
- Close all instances of AccessStudio and run AccessStudio.
- Re-create the issue.
Submit the logs
If requested, submit the generated logs from the following folders to IBM Support:

<AccessStudio installation folder>\AA\ECSS\AccessStudio\logs
-
<AccessStudio installation folder>\AA\logs
