Abstract
This document describes how to download and install IBM Rational Robot Version 7.0.1.9
Download Description
There are no enhancements or defect fixes in this release. Rational Robot Version 7.0.1.9 is technically similar to version 7.0.1.8. Rational Robot 7.0.1.9 is created to match the version of other IBM Rational applications such as Rational ClearCase and Rational RequisitePro, for bundling purposes.
Prerequisites
- This application requires an installed IBM Rational Robot Version 7.0.1 product and fixpack 7.0.18. You cannot upgrade from 7.0.1.1-7.0.1.8 directly to 7.0.1.9. As always, to upgrade from any ifix, you must install the next fixpack first.
- If you are installing Rational Robot on Microsoft Windows Vista, you must configure certain security settings for using Rational Robot. For more information, refer to the Pre-requisites for recording Robot scripts on Microsoft Windows Vista technote.
Installation Instructions
To download and install the Rational Robot Version 7.0.1.9, perform the following steps:
- Download Rational Robot Version 7.0.1.9 to your computer.

Checksum data
MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) is commonly used to check the integrity of files. It is a cryptographic hash function with a 128-bit hash value.
A cryptographic hash function is a deterministic procedure that takes an arbitrary block of data and returns a fixed-size bit string, the (cryptographic) hash value, such that an accidental or intentional change to the data will change the hash value. An MD5 hash is typically expressed as a 32 digit hexadecimal number.
Here is the Checksum value for the Rational Robot 7.0.1.9 Fix Pack 1 file: F7E3E688E11B5929DE19D3328A94B67F
