There are list of attributes stored on the corporate LDAP server when using Rational Directory Server for Apache (or Tivoli). Which of these attributes will be read by Rational Directory Server (RDS) for Apache or Tivoli to do corporate LDAP authentication?

Rational Directory Server (RDS) reads the basic attributes of object class 'objectclass=objectClass: top, person, organizationalPerson, inetorgperson" such as:

  • Cn
  • uid
  • sn
  • givenname
  • telephoneNumber
  • mail
  • facsimileTelephoneNumber (fax)
  • description
  • postalAddress
  • sAMAccountName and
  • member description
  • uniquemember for groups
