Question
If there is a problem with the Guardium Collector, Aggregator or Central Manager, what basic information must be gathered before contacting IBM Software Support?

The methods to run the must gather have not changed from version 9.0p50 to version 10.0. They are:
1. Run must gather and save file to desktop from GUI
1.1. Navigate to GUI->Manage->Maintenance->Support Information Gathering
1.2. Select the type(s) of must gather to run under "Gather Log Information Related To"
1.3. Note that User Interface, Backup and Scheduler types will run a debugger for the number of minutes set in "Gather information duration (minutes)"
1.4. Optionally use "Schedule Start Time" to run at a time in the future. Leave blank to run it now.
1.5. Press Start
1.6. Navigate to GUI->Maintenance->Support Information Results. Use the save icon to save the results.
2. Run must gather and send file by email from GUI
This is only possible if SMTP is configured in GUI->Setup->Tools and Views->Alerter
2.1. Navigate to GUI->Manage->Maintenance->Support Information Gathering
2.2. Enter the email to send the must gather file to in "Send Results To"
2.3. Optionally enter a PMR number that will appear in the email subject in "PMR" and text to add to the email in "Describe below..."
2.4 Follow the steps 1.2 - 1.6. The file will also be sent to the specified email.
3. Run must gather from cli and save file from fileserver
3.1. Follow the same steps as in the Version 9.x
3.2. When on the fileserver page navigate to SqlGuard Logs->gim-snif-guard-logs ->must_gather OR SqlGuard Logs->opt-ibm-guardium-log ->must_gather to get the file (exact path depends on patch level).
