Troubleshooting
Problem
After deploying Safety application as part of IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.4.0 you can receive the "Failed to load organizations" errors on the UI and no organizations are listed.
Cause
Organizations are not working properly in Safety 8.0.2 due to a known issue. They do however work in the Safety 8.1 that released with MAS 8.50. For Safety 8.0.2, only the root organization is working and that should be used.
Diagnosing The Problem
Below error is seen in safety-pod:
SQL0420N Invalid character found in a character string argument of the function "DECFLOAT". SQLSTATE=22018
Resolving The Problem
Upgrade to IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.5.0 and use Safety 8.1 with root organization.
NOTE: If root organization does not show up as well, open Safety application in a incognito browser window.
