Enhancements to file level backup of integrated Windows servers from IBM i provides save while active (SWA) functionality. The backup application has been enhanced to exploit the Windows Server Volume Shadow-copy Service to ensure objects are saved in a consistent and complete manner, which improves application availability.
The following IBM i PTF groups are used to deliver this enhancement:
