IBM i Compliance Automation Reporting Tool (CART)

The Compliance Automation Reporting Tool (referred to as CART) provides load and go reports and dashboards, making it easy for you to identify security risks and take action to resolve out of policy items. Base risk and priorities on your own policy, or IBM's best practices policy. 

CART comes in two flavors: 

• Enterprise Edition which incorporates the ability to have centralized reports and dashboards containing information across many systems or LPARs/VMs. 
• NEW Express Edition which provides similar function at lower cost for single server implementations.

Along with Security Centric reports and dashboards, CART is also expanded to provide many systems and object metrics for the IBM i System Administrator. Often, it is the Systems Administrator responsible for both security compliance and keeping your system running! CART provides many out of the box reports/dashboards so you can monitor work management, job, journal, output queue/spooled files, PTF Groups and much more. 

Reports and Dashboards are built using IBM's Db2 Web Query for i Business Analytics Solution. To learn more about Db2 Web Query, click HERE. Web Query SCHEDULER Edition is the minimum requirement to support CART. 

Take a TEST DRIVE of CART Express Edition by acquiring the Db2 Web Query EZ-Install package. Install Db2 Web Query AND CART Express for a 70 day trial. To obtain EZ-Install, send an email to QU2@us.ibm.com requesting CART Express trial code. Please include name, serial number of system, and IBM i Operating System Level.
