How To
Summary
This technote shows how to set an ACS data transfer to interact with libraries in an independent auxiliary storage pool (iASP).
Environment
You might have files that reside in a library that is in an iASP rather than the *SYSBASE ASP. By default those libraries are not accessible. This might cause errors such as an SQL0204 saying that the object cannot be found or the inability to browse the library
Steps
In order to access an iASP, the data transfer connection properties must be set to reference the iASP. The first step to setting this is to click the 'Properties' button in the data transfer program:

Then, specify the iASP name in the 'Database' field.

Click 'OK' to return to the transfer and the objects in the iASP are now available to you.
