Resolving The Problem

While there is a function to convert the old PC5250 client macros to the new macro format in IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS), the conversion will fail if you have manually added your own edits to the macro in PC5250. If you have done anything besides a basic screen record to create your macro in PC5250, it will not convert using the ACS macro conversion utility. This means you must rewrite and customize scripts you have created.
