Note: The CHGUSRPRF command can no longer be used to reset, or re-enable, a user that is disabled for NetServer access as it was in the past on earlier OS versions (710 and below). Refer to APAR MA42015 for additional information. Individual users can be re-enabled by using the GO NETS menu, using IBM i Navigator, or by writing a program that makes use of the QZLSCHSI API. All profiles are re-enabled for IBM i NetServer use when NetServer is restarted from the Navigator for i screen or by running the STRTCPSVR *NETSVR command. All profiles are also re-enabled for NetServer use when the IBM i system is IPLed.
IBM Document 684479 - CL Program and Command to Re-Enable NetServer Users contains a sample as-is CL program that uses the QZLSCHSI API to re-enable NetServer users and a sample command that can be used to run the program.
IBM Document 683941 - Automatically Re-Enable a Disabled IBM i NetServer User Profile contains a sample as-is CL program that uses the QZLSCHSI API to re-enable NetServer users and a sample WATCH program that can be used to run the re-enablement program automatically whenever a CPIB682 "User Profile disabled" message is received on the IBM i.
