  • This code addresses a rare potential for data corruption. When a write is issued while the drive write cache is enabled and a read-verify is performed immediately afterwards, undetected data corruption can occur. For this issue to occur, the drive write cache must be enabled.
  • Fixes a potential data loss situation. After a power cycle, the drive is no longer available and becomes unresponsive. Data may become inaccessible due to the drive not responding.
