How to add support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 in IBM Data Studio 4.1.x?
Resolving The Problem
- Go to the Data Studio installation directory:
Linux: /opt/IBM/DS4.1.4
Windows: C:\Program Files\IBM\DS4.1.4 - Open the eclipse.ini file, add the following parameters and save the changes:
- -Dcom.ibm.jsse2.overrideDefaultTLS=true
- -Dcom.ibm.jsse2.overrideDefaultProtocol=TLSv12
- -Dcom.ibm.jsse2.overrideDefaultCSName=true
- For starting Data Studio for the first time, run the following command from the Data Studio installation directory: eclipse.exe -clean
