Problem
The IBM Cloud Pak System rack loses connectivity to external network subnet 192.168.70.x regularly, and connectivity is restored after a couple of seconds.
Cause
An internal job runs regularly to discover internal system components. This job configures the IP address from 192.168.70.x subnet on the Platform System Manager (PSM) interface and removes it when the job completes. Whenever this job runs, the IBM Cloud Pak System rack loses connectivity to any external network, which is on 192.168.70.x. However, connectivity is restored after the job completes.
Resolving The Problem
The only way to prevent this connectivity problem from occurring is to not use the 192.168.70.x subnet.
The support for users to use this subnet will be added in future releases.
