Abstract
A new feature in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome and Edge) introduces a new feature that causes some content in the IBM Business Automation Workflow Process Portal framework to not display in the browser page. A fix is available to resolve the problem.
Content
Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome and Edge, on version 114, introduce a new popover API. This new feature conflicts with the popover attribute used in the IBM Business Automation Workflow Process Portal HTML framework and causes some content to not display in the browser page.
The browser console logs show this warning message:
Found a 'popover' attribute with an invalid value.
Some of the missing content in Process Portal includes the Task Assignment capability in the Modify Task menu, which can be obstructive for users and delay their work.
Expand to see the Modify Task menu without the Task Assignment capability
Expand to see the Modify Task menu with the Task Assignment capability
To resolve this problem, download and install the Known Issue DT189179 fix.
