IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Pattern V18.0.0.2 deployment fails at Db2 configuration script

Abstract

You might see the error “Exception: Error occurred in remote operation” with traceback containing the following lines during the execution of "BAW_18002_Config_Standby_DB2-script" during pattern deployment with IBM Db2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern V1.2.9.0:

Resolution
  1. Disable IBM Db2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern V1.2.9.0 by using the Catalog > Pattern Types menu.
  2. Import the most recent IBM Db2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern V1.2.9.1.
  3. Enable IBM Db2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern V1.2.9.1 by using the Catalog > Pattern Types menu.
  4. In the pattern builder, open the BAW pattern, and modify the db2 script package versions to refer to V1.2.9.1. Make sure that you select the Db2 Server version as 11.1.
  5. Save and deploy the pattern.
