Question

When run "manageAppHost" command, the following error is seen after upgrade App Host 1.13:
JVMJ9VM149E <JAVA_HOME>/lib/ext is no longer supported. Please add the required libraries/jar files to the classpath.
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Cause

The Java™ installation in app host is broken. 
JVMJ9VM149E is an error in Java 9 and later.

Answer

Solution:
rmdir /opt/ibm/java-x86_64-80/jre/lib/ext
To verify run
java -version
