How do you skip the payment processing at order level in IBM Sterling Selling and Fulfillment suite?

Cause

Disallowing payment processing at Enterprise Level or Document Type level is not an available option.

Answer

You can skip payment processing in Sterling OMS at order level by creating a dummy payment rule in IBM Sterling Business Center (SBC),

Ensure the below flags are unchecked for this dummy payment rule:

  • Authorization Required
  • Settlement Required
This rule can then be passed as the payment rule on the order.
