How can you set the image of a Controlled File to be permanently displayed when you drag it from the browser onto a diagram in Rhapsody (without using the Display Options menu)?
Answer
In order to set the image in the Controlled File please perform the following steps:
- Right-click the controlled file on the diagram and select "Associate Image" this option was previously available in the browser but the entry seems to be unavailable in the current edition of 7.5)
- Once you've associated an image, it should automatically display whenever you drag the controlled file onto a diagram. You can then choose an image to associate with the Controlled File. Choose the image, and click Apply.
- Click Okay and close the dialog window.
If you can't see this option on your menu, you can try this second method:
- Right-click and choose Display Options.
- Check "Enable Image View".
- Then, check "Use Associated Image." You can then choose an image to associate with the Controlled File. Choose the image, and click Apply.
- Click Okay and close the dialog window. The image should now be set.
