Abstract

How to load balance and provide high availability for Netcool/Impact Server Connections (Web Services, REST Interface, and others)

Content

This paper is a step-by-step solution guide to enable load balancing and high availability connections for the Netcool/Impact Server, such as REST Interface, NameServer Interface, and Web Services. By using an IBM HTTP server to round-robin HTTP(S) connections, we can improve performance and guarantee availability, scaling horizontally by increasing Netcool/Impact GUI servers and backend servers.
