How do you install IBM Sterling Multi-Channel Fulfillment Solution (SMCFS) in Oracle RAC system for IBM Sterling Order Management?
Cause
You want specific correct Service Identifiers (SID) and host name during SMCFS installation.
Answer
RAC system is configured in Oracle database and has multiple hostname and (SID). You can follow the default process to install SMCFS.
You can provide any RAC node details (SID and host details) while installing the product. Oracle will handle all the failover situation.
NOTE:
Use user.sbx.ORACLE_JDBC_URL=<url> property for silent installation.
In RAC Failover situations delays is expected and can be handled.
