Question
How do you generate code for Activity Diagrams in IBM Rational Rhapsody?
Answer
Uncheck the "Analysis Only" option from Diagram Properties/Features to be able to generate code for Activity Diagrams.
Properties Window:
![](/support/pages/system/files/support/swg/rattech.nsf/0/cb90a29483ed297f852576ff002ebf10/Content/0.184.gif)
Instructions:
- To create an Activity Diagram in a new Project, right mouse click on a Package and go to "Diagrams > Activity".
2. Right click on Activity and select the Activity Diagram Features dialog. "Analysis Only" option is in the General Tab. Uncheck the option if its already set.
3. Add new model elements and generate code. The code will be generated for the elements in the diagram.
Note: Marking the diagram to be a "Analysis Only" type implies the Diagram is only for analysis purpose and hence no code generation.
