Summary
The following document explains how to use Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge to capture console logs to debug IBM Order Hub customization issues.
Steps
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- Launch the Order Hub application and navigate to the page where you are noticing undesired behavior.
- Select the Chrome menu (⋮) at the upper right of your browser window and then select Tools > Developer Tools. The Developer Tools open as a docked pane at the side of Chrome.
- Click the Console tab.
- Right-click within the Console tab.
- Click Save as to save a copy of the activity that you recorded.
- Save the file and send it to IBM Sterling Support for review.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Launch the Order Hub application and navigate to the page where you are noticing undesired behavior.
- Select the Firefox menu (three horizontal parallel lines) at the upper right of your browser window.
- Select More Tools > Web Developer Tools. The Developer Network Tools open as a docked pane at the side of Firefox.
- Click the Console tab.
- Refresh the page that you are on or go through the steps to reproduce the problem you are experiencing while Firefox is recording activity.
- Right-click anywhere under the Console and click Export Visible Messages To -> File.
- Save the file and send it to IBM Sterling Support for review.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Launch the Order Hub application and navigate to the page where you are noticing undesired behavior.
- Press F12 to open the Developer Tools window.
- Click the Console tab.
- Right click and the save to export captured console logs.
- Send the files to IBM Sterling Support for review.
