How to do silent installation of SDL Suite in windows?
Answer
To perform a silent installation of the SDL Suite in a Windows environment:
- From the command prompt navigate to the path where the SDL installer for Windows is located.
- To carry out the recording use the following command: setup.exe /r /fl"c:\setup.iss"
- Follow the instruction and install the tool as desired. This process will create a setup.iss file in the path specified when running the command.
- Once the .iss file has been created, you can now use this to silently install on other Windows machines using the install options selected. To run the silent installation on other machines, use the following command: setup.exe /s /fl"c:\setup.iss"
