I integrated IBM Log Analysis with Hadoop. How do I delete data in Hadoop?
Answer
1) To remove data in Hadoop only (not data in Solr):
$ python deleteUtility.py unityadmin hadoop
2) To remove data from both Solr and Hadoop:
$ python deleteUtility.py unityadmin all
Where "unityadmin" is the default password of "unityadmin" user. If your password is no longer the default password, replace this password with your password.
NOTE:
If you want to remove the Hadoop integration, delete the Hadoop data by running the delete utility before you remove the Hadoop configuration. Hadoop data deletion will not work after you remove the Hadoop configuration.
