How to delete user(s) on IBM Planning Analytics on Cloud

Troubleshooting


Problem

Customer wishes to delete a user from their Planning Analytics on Cloud.

Resolving The Problem

The sequence in deleting a user is:
    1. Delete the user from the tm1 instance(s) this user is a member of (production and development).  This is optional, see note below.
    2. Logon to Production environment on Cloud, Planning Analytics Administration, Users, double click on the user (or select Manage Environments, once you have selected the user).  Remove (untick) Development environment for this user, if it is ticked.
    3. Logon to Production environemtn on Cloud, Planning Analytics Administration, Users, Manage User accounts: for this user, select 'Remove Access'  (this will remove the user from the subscription database and PAW container).
Note.  By following steps 2 and 3, user(s) are no longer able to connect to the tm1 instance, automatically.  That is regardless if they are still listed in the model as a user and belonging to any User Groups.
