How to create a master shipper? how to modify one? How to combine shippers into a master shipper? Using 02514
Cause
Answer
Master shippers are automatically created if shipper consolidation rule is
configured then running wh144 will make master shippers. But for post Ready to
Task shippers, i.e. in status Released and beyond one should use 02514 to
create or modify a master shipper.
Create:
1. Use Option 2 Create
and use the criteria such as Ship To to list shippers.
2. In Screen 2
combine the shippers using Option 1 to include the ones you want merged and hit
F3 to update.
This will create a master shipper that includes the shippers
selected.
Modify:
1. Use Option 3 to modify an existing master
shipper and key in the master shipper number or list the master shippers and
key in 3 against the one you want to modify .
2. Exclude the child shippers
that you want to disassociate from the master shippers by blanking out the 1
against them.
3. Hit F3 to update.
