Question
You are using IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription on Windows and you want to know how to completely uninstall the application.
Answer
*** Uninstalling IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription on Windows***
1 -Uninstall the software via Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
2 -Reboot your computer
3 -Check to see if you have a Subscription folder in: C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics
2 -Reboot your computer
3 -Check to see if you have a Subscription folder in: C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics
If you see the folder, then delete it.
5 -In the search field in your task bar type regedit
6 -Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | JavaSoft | Prefs | com | ibm |/S/P/S/S | /Statistics
7 -If you see any folders that begin with /Subscription, please delete them
8 -Go to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\IBM\SPSS
9 -If you see a COM folder, please rename to OLDCOM
10 -Reboot
11 -Reinstall the software making sure you right click “run as administrator” on the .exe install file
12 -Now open Subscription and Sign In
