You would like to customize the appearance of model elements/diagrams in Rational Rhapsody
Answer
You can change the browser display icon of a model element/diagram in Rational Rhapsody in the following way:
1. Launch Rational Rhapsody and open an existing project
2. Right-click Package > Add New > Stereotype
3. Right-click Stereotype > Features and apply the following settings
- Navigate to General > Applicable to and select the element that should serve as the base for the new element type you are creating
- Select the New Term check box
- Navigate to Properties and edit the property Model::Stereotype::BrowserIcon to supply the name of the .ico file that should be used as the icon to represent the new element type in the browser
4. Apply the stereotype to the respective element and view the icon change
