How to achieve ship node assignment by distance for order that has items that are shipped to multiple address?
Answer
MCF 7.11 supports the distance between
shipfrom and shipto address to be used for ship node assignment. There are
scenarios where some orders with the items are to be shipped to multiple
addresses. Such orders have blank Order,OrderLines,OrderLine,PersonInfoShipTo
address ,instead all the shipping addresses are stored in
Order,OrderLines,OrderLine,AdditionalAddresses (yfs_entity_address table).
YFSGetDistanceUE can be called before the order is created in MCF to populate appropriate ship node in the order xml. This UE can invoke getSurroundingNodeList and findInventory API to get ship node for order line.
