Troubleshooting
Problem
After uninstalling the Guardium STAP the KTAP module is still loaded on HPUX.
Symptom
After uninstalling STAP, to check if the KTAP is loaded run the command "kcmodule | grep ktap". If the STAP uninstalled successfully no ktap module should appear here.
Note: The module will still appear in the result of the command "lsdev | grep ktap". This does not mean it is loaded.
Resolving The Problem
To remove the KTAP module first run the following command
kcmodule -s | grep ktap
This will return a line like this where <version number> is a number.
ktap<version number> loaded best loadable, unloadable
Then run the following replacing <version number> with the number from above.
kcmodule -d ktap<version number>=uninstall
The KTAP should be unloaded and should not restart after reboot.
