Problem
Infosphere Guardium patch GPU200 upgrades the kernel on the Guardium machine, which disables the local VMware tools. Reinstall VMware tools after the GPU200 upgrade.
Symptom
VMware tools no longer installed after patch 200 upgrade.
Environment
Guardium v9.1 collectors, aggregators or central managers running in VMware virtual machines.
Resolving The Problem
From CLI, run:
setup vmware_tools install
