Getting data for Disk Magic from PDI

To get the data file for input to Disk Magic you will export a file from PDI.

This will be a .csv file. 

1. From your IBM i system, simply start in your browser (FF or Chrome recommended) by going to http://<systemname>:2001

2. Open left hand launch to Performance, then Investigate Data-> Collection Services and the Disk folder till you see, "Disk Reads and Writes Detail":

3. Select it.  Select "Most Recent" collection and select "Display"

This perspective has 4 views, you will want to export the first one, "Performance Data Investigator IBM i Model DSS"

5. Click on "Select Action" and "Export"

6. Set format = .csv and select Data Range = "All data"

7. Click OK button

8. Go to browser Downloads to find file

It should look something like this:
