What is the future of the Work Centers, considering that Maximo Mobile is released and it has some of the functionalities of Work Centers?
Answer
The Development team is working toward phasing out the Work Center applications and replacing them with the Maximo Mobile versions of the same applications.
The first example is Conduct an Inspection.
In a Maximo environment that contains both Work Centers and Mobile, the Conduct an Inspection version of Work Center is disabled.
The inspection starts in the Mobile application, instead of Work Center.
The new functionalities coming to Conduct an Inspection will be added only to the Maximo Mobile version.
