Why does findInventory retreive results availability information for held items with status 2000 in IBM Sterling Order Management?
Answer
Considering a scenario wherein , the item is initially in published status (3000) and has onhand inventory in various nodes. Later the item is moved from Published status to Held status. But the item still has available inventory
FindInventory is an availability info API. It does not check the status of the item whether it is held or published when trying to retrieve options.
If the item has onhand inventory in YFS_INVENTORY_SUPPLY then findInventory will retreive records.
