FedEx Integration: Special Character Handling; Double Quote Marks Not Allowed

Cause
Resolving The Problem
The following are the special characters not supported by Fedex :
a)
embedded quotes
b) single quote / apostrophes
c) Double quotes ( as the
transaction record has field values enclosed in double quotation marks
)
Note : The accent key (located on the key with the tilde) can be used
as a substitute for words that require an apostrophe.
Thus, some cartons
with data containing them have to be shipped via a standalone FedEx machine;
and users need to record tracking numbers manually.
Note: Scanning this
data into the system is not permitted after the status is SHIPPED.
