Features and enhancements in InfoSphere® Master Data Management 14.0

Installing InfoSphere® MDM or upgrading to the latest feature pack
There are three possible installation and upgrade paths. See IBM® Documentation for information about:
- Installing a new instance of InfoSphere® MDM 14.0, including all of the available feature packs.
Important: Review the Systems Requirements page to ensure that all prerequisites have been met before you attempt to upgrade.
Downloading feature packs for InfoSphere® MDM 14.0
Download the feature pack artifacts from IBM® Fix Central or IBM® Passport Advantage:
- To download from Fix Central, navigate to Fix Central, then select Information Management → InfoSphere Master Data Management → v14.0 → ALL.
- To download from Passport Advantage:
1. Refer to the Download IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management page to determine the part numbers to download from Passport Advantage.
2. Download the parts that you need from Passport Advantage.
Updating the InfoSphere® MDM Publisher component
The InfoSphere® MDM Publisher component supports exporting data to the IBM® Match 360 with Watson service on IBM® Cloud Pak for Data 5.0. Incremental updates occur more frequently for the MDM Publisher component than for the rest of the InfoSphere® MDM components. Download the latest MDM Publisher updates from Fix Central.
For guidance about determining which updates are compatible with each Cloud Pak for Data release, see this IBM Support article. Unless explicitly stated, all MDM Publisher 14.0 releases are compatible with all InfoSphere® MDM 14.0 releases.
