Why is the login to the remote repository share failing after username and password are entered.
Answer
There are a few reasons why this error can occur. To resolve the issue, try the following:
- The login box requires the domain and username like <domain>\username. This domain and user must be defined on the FastBack server to have access to mount volumes.
- Restarting the FastBack Mount service may resolve the issue.
- Make sure the share is recognized in Windows Explorer and that the files can be accessed.
