Abstract
Fast Forward with Virtual Image based Deployments
Body
Jazz for Service Management (JazzSM) is now available as a virtual image. Fast forward to leveraging the functionality of JazzSM by deploying it as a virtual machine on your laptop or in your private cloud. JazzSM is now available as two different types of virtual image: The vCenter Image and the Workstation Image.
The vCenter virtual image is a virtual machine template. It is a designed to be deployed into a cloud and be adaptable to the network in which it is being deployed. The administrator of the cloud may set a new network configuration (hostname, IP address, gataeway, DNS, etc) and the Operating System and the application will reconfigure themselves appropriately. Use this format for easy deployment into dev/test environments. This virtual machine template (aka virtual appliance) can be deployed into a VMware Virtual Center 4.1 or higher environment.
Need something portable? The Workstation Image can be run on your laptop. Carry it with you where ever you go. It is great for education or demo purposes where it runs in virtualization tools like Vmware Workstation. Download them today.
