Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to open Formal Module result in "Warning: empty tool library index file" when using IBM Rational DOORS.
Symptom
You are receiving error while opening any Formal Modules in Rational DOORS.
Cause
The following Warning message appears if you do not have Rational Quality Manager or Rational ClearQuest installed and associated Interface services are installed on DOORS Client.
Resolving The Problem
To resolve the issue, you will need to remove the Interface services from the Rational DOORS Client:
- From the Microsoft Windows Control Panel, go to Add/Remove Program
- Modify/Change the IBM Rational DOORS x.x installer
- Uncheck/Remove the Interface services for Rational ClearQuest(CQ) and Rational Quality Manager (RQM)
