Troubleshooting
Problem
After stopping Message Engine(ME) you notice the following in the SystemOut.log.
Symptom
[3/18/12 9:28:58:437 EDT] 0000007b SystemOut O javax.jms.JMSException: CWSIA0085E: An exception was received during the call to the method JmsMsgConsumerImpl.stop: com.ibm.wsspi.sib.core.exception.SISessionUnavailableException: CWSIP0177E: The consumer session on destination connections.events on messaging engine Clus01.000-Bus01 has been closed.
Cause
In this case the CWSIA0085E error was caused by the client application not being shutdown before the ME was stopped. Reviewing the SystemOut.log showed this sequence of events

The ME can be seen going into stopping state before the CSWIA0085E error occured.
Resolving The Problem
You may want to stop any applications connecting to the ME before stopping the ME to prevent this type of error.
