Troubleshooting
Problem
When users try to copy a report or a report view from My Content to Team Content, they get these errors: CM-REQ-4127 An error occurred during a copy operation. CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Contact the administrator.
Symptom
The users see these errors: : CM-REQ-4127 An error occurred during a copy operation. CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Contact the administrator.
Cause
The Cognos group or role that the users belong to does not have write permissions to Team Content.
Diagnosing The Problem
The cogaudit.log file shows these errors: CM-REQ-4127 An error occurred during a copy operation. CM-REQ-4012 You do not have the appropriate authorization to update or delete the object "/ Team Content / XXXXX / Report" or a related object.
Resolving The Problem
The Cognos security system administrator needs to give the user group or role "write" permissions to the Team Content folder.
