Abstract

You want to know when the end of service (EOS) date is for a CICS product. This document includes information concerning CICS Transaction Server for z/OS, CICS Transaction Server for z/VSE, and CICS Tools.

The following table contains CICS products having EOS dates in 2021 and higher in order by EOS date and product within EOS date. Click the EOS date to view the announcement letter.

To view the end of service date along with general availability and end of marketing dates for any supported IBM product:

  1. Go to the IBM Software Support Lifecycle home page.
  2. Enter the product name and version, for example "CICS Transaction Server 5.4".
  3. Click Search.
  4. Scroll down to the product you are interested in. Or, enter cntl-F to display a search box, then enter the product you want to find and click Next. You might have to change the "Items per page" to a higher number and (or) click Next to view additional pages.
  5. Find the end of service date under the column entitled "End of support".
  6. Click the date in the "End of support" column to view the announcement letter.
  7. Click the desired product in the "Product name" column to display the details page view which also contains the End of Marketing (EOM) date.


Note that products might not all display on the Lifecycle page after the EOS date.
